Use vFlyer’s Domain Plus service to purchase a new domain or map an existing domain to your vFlyer content.
Business subscribers can use vFlyer’s Domain Plus service to easily search for and purchase any available domain. To begin, click the Domains link on your vFlyer homepage.
Enter the domain name you wish to purchase and click Search.
All available domain names will be displayed in four top-level domains (.com, .net, .biz, and .info). Choose the domain name you want and click Continue.
On the following screen, enter contact information to register your domain, agree to the Domain Name Registration Agreement at the bottom of the page, then click Continue.
Next, enter billing information for your domain purchase. By default, we’ll import the credit card information on file for your account. Press Continue at the bottom of the page.
Lastly, configure your new domain. Choose to map the domain to your Account Profile page or to a specific flyer. If you select Flyer, a drop-down menu will appear - choose one of your published flyers to point the domain to. You can also set your domain to automatically renew - otherwise it will expire in 1 year. Click Update at the bottom of the page to complete your domain configuration.
You’ll now be able to manage your domain from the Domains link at the top of your page. You can visit your domain, re-configure it as necessary, and renew.
If you already own a domain and you’d like to map it to your vFlyer content (an individual flyer or your Account Profile), you’ll first need to reconfigure the domain. Go to the website where you originally purchased the domain, and log in to your account. We’ll use GoDaddy.com as an example. Once you log in, find a link for your Domain Manager.
Check the box next to the domain you wish to configure, and choose “Nameservers”.
Choose the option for “I have specific nameservers for my domains”, and set the DNS servers to “DNS1.vflyer.com” and “DNS2.vflyer.com”
Within a few hours, your domain will be ready to map to your vFlyer content. Next, return to vFlyer’s Domains page and click the link in the section labeled, “Already own a domain?”.
Enter your domain name and a forwarding email address. Then, map the domain to your account profile or choose one of your flyers from the drop-down menu. Click Update and your domain will be mapped to your vFlyer content.
