A widget is a portable snippet of HTML code that can be embedded in a website. Put more simply, it’s a way of integrating content from one website into another. vFlyer enables you to create widgets that display your active listings and that you can easily embed in your website or blog.
Widgets are great and easy ways of promoting your listings and reaching a wider audience. For one thing, you have many options for the size, shape, and content of your widget; vFlyer offers widgets optimized for putting in the center of a page and for putting on the sidebar, widgets that display all your listings and just one listing. Perhaps best of all, widgets are updated automatically as you add, remove, and edit your flyers, so there’s almost no maintenance required by you once you’ve embedded a widget.
vFlyer offers several styles of both multi-item widgets (which display multiple listings) and single-item widgets (which display only one listing) for you to choose from.
Yes. A teaser is an enhanced link to an external web page that is designed for use in vFlyer widgets. To create a teaser, click the Teasers link from the Widget Library, then click Create a Teaser. In the Teaser Editor, enter a title, the URL of the web page the teaser will link to, and any summary information and photos for the listing. Once you are finished, click Save. You can then use your teasers in any vFlyer widget.
Yes. You can do this by creating a list. Think of a list as a playlist of your flyers and/or teasers. To create a list, click the Lists link from the Widget Library, then give your list a name and click Import Items. Check the flyers and/or teasers you want to import and click Import. Once your list is complete, in the List Editor, click Save List.
To use a list in a multi-item widget, in the Widget Editor, click the drop-down menu labeled Seleted List, then select the list you want to use and continue creating the widget following the steps outlined below.
It’s easy! Just follow these steps:

vFlyer widgets are designed for embedding in wide range of websites. However, some websites have restrictions on third-party content, so you may not be able to embed your widgets on those sites. The hosted version of WordPress falls into this category.
