We often add new product categories based on user feedback, so if you don’t see a good category for your product, let us know! In the short run, we generally recommend you choose the category that matches your product most closely.
Currently, there isn’t a way to switch the product category on a Flyer that was already created, even if it’s been cloned. Each product category has a slightly different architecture and there isn’t a way of changing that architecture midway through.
Yes! Customizability is one of the great features of vFlyer. To add your own custom Features and Attributes fields, simply click the Add Field or Add Attribute link, enter a label for the added field, select the type of information for the field (text, number, or date), and click Add. Then enter content for the new field. Take note that any fields you add will appear in the flyer Editor of all your flyers in that same category, but will only appear on the flyers if you enter a value for them.
Yes. From your account, click the Account link, then the Settings tab. You can choose to hide the “More Listings” link by unchecking the box labeled Show More Listings Link. Click the Update button to save the changes. For premium layout flyers, the update will be automatically applied to any flyers you have already published. For standard layout flyers, you will need to re-publish any flyers you previously published for the change to be applied to them.
To clone a Flyer, simply click the Flyers link, then click the Clone link under the flyer you are copying. If you’re cloning multiple flyers, check the box next to each flyer, then click the Clone button at the top of the flyers list. Each clone will appear as a draft.
Yes! You can add links to your website, blog, and any other sites you want viewers to visit by locating the Links section of the Flyer Editor and clicking Add Link. Then enter a link title (this will appear on the flyer) and the URL to the link (ex. http://www.vflyer.com).
Yes. To do this, uncheck the Use Account Information box in the Contact Information section of the Flyer Editor, then enter a new name, phone number and email address in the fields provided. To display the email address on the flyer, check the box labeled Email on flyer.
Yes. Follow the instructions above for entering contact information in the Flyer Editor and enter your name and the other broker’s name in the Name field, then in the Phone Number field, enter the two phone numbers with a label for each. You may need to adjust the labels to get each number on its own line. We are expecting better support for more than one set of contact information in the future.
Our map data comes from the Google Maps API. If the API doesn’t recognize an address, it won’t display the map. Sometimes the data in the API is incorrect and it places an address in the wrong location. Though there isn’t anything that vFlyer can do about this, one thing you can do is submit a request to TeleAtlas, the company that provides data to Google Maps, to add the address to the data it provides or update the address with the correct location. You can do so by clicking this link and following the directions provided: http://www.teleatlas.com/ForConsumers/MapFeedback/index.htm.
Alternately, you can choose not to show the map by unchecking the Show Map box in the location section of the Flyer Editor and publishing or re-publishing the Flyer.
Yes. In the Photo Editor, click the Browse button. Then select any photos you want to upload while holding down the Ctrl key. Once you have done this, click the Upload button. Do not leave this page until the photos have finished uploading.
This occurs when the size of the photos is less than 500×375 pixels. We recommend that you upload photos that are equal to or greater than these dimensions to your flyers. Photo files that are uploaded should also be no more than 5MB in size.
